Master of Science in Photonics Engineering VUB Scholarships for International Students in Belgium

Applications for the Master of Science in Photonics Engineering VUB Scholarships are now being accepted by the Vrije Universities Brussels. The program is available for the 2022-2023 academic year.

All candidates applying to Vrije Universities Brussels will be able to demonstrate their technical knowledge during a scholarship interview prior to final admission. The scholarship is worth 10.000 EUR per academic year for the Master of Science in Photonics Engineering program.

  • A secondary or higher education diploma in which English is the only language of instruction (the medium of instruction must be mentioned on your transcripts, diploma, or a separate attestation given by the school to confirm this)
  • TOEFL IBT (or TOEFL IBT Home Edition) with a score of at least 79 (Institution code 6740)
  • ITACE with a minimum level of B2 IELTS (or IELTS Indicator) with a minimum overall score of 6.5
  • Cambridge English Qualification Scale, with a minimum level of: 170

Based on their academic records, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel will award selected students full scholarships of 10.000 EUR per academic year for the Master of Science in Photonics Engineering program.
